Brian has served as a law enforcement officer in Northern California for over 24 years.  He worked for 14 years as a detective investigating various types of crimes and incidents including child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence and homicide. 

Brian has testified numerous times in Superior and Federal Court in a variety of hearings and cases, both criminal and civil. Brian is known for being well prepared for court and for testifying in a professional, unbiased manner.

Brian has conducted countless interviews related to criminal and civil matters.  Brian teaches interview and investigative techniques to peace officers and civilians throughout California.

Brian has received over 100 hours of training related to the collection and preservation of evidence. He has personally been involved in the collection of, or has supervised the collection of, blood evidence, firearms evidence, photographic and video evidence, documents, weapons, tools, and a variety of other items.

Brian has authored a variety of reports, documents and affidavits which have been used in criminal and civil venues.
